3 Types of people by Brian Tracy
There are 3 types of people:
1 who makes things happen.
2 who wait for things to happen.
3 who ask what happened?
They don't understand that our society has gone through a fundamental transformation and it will never be the same again.
We have entered in an information age where knowledge is power.
Wealth today is no longer contains in plants, factory, labour, fixtures and raw material as it was in all the human history.
Today the greatest wealth contains between your 2 ears.
Today wealth is contained in brainpower, not in the boot power.
A multi-billion dollar company can be established in a night because of a change in technology.
This can never happen to your mind unless you allow it to happen.
Your house can be burned down and money can be stolen but nobody can steal your mind though people steal ideas.
You can walk with billion dollars in your mind to any place on the planet.
Most rich people in the world have started from scratch.
They have spent a lot on learning more than others.
4 reasons why people don't set goals:
1 They don't recognize the value of goals. You can easily reach adulthood without knowing how to set goals. Look around the people how many have specific goals.
2 They don't know how to set goals in the right place. A goal is created, specifically written and clear. Many people think they already have goals, having money and family etc. But these are mere wishes and fantasies.
3 Because of the fear of failure. Everyone has a failure in life from time to time. Being afraid people sabotage the possibilities by not settings the goals. They end up life by functioning far lower than their abilities
4 Because of fear of rejection. This is why you should keep your goals confidential. What they don't know they can't hurt you for that.
You have to pay the price for reaping results of your habits. Habits are at the intersection of knowledge, skill and desire.
Knowledge is a theoretical component. It is what to do and why to do it.
Skill is the practical side of how to do it.
Desire is the motivational side what you want to do.
We literally must have all 3 components. Knowledge, skill and desire.
