Work Hard on Yourself than Your Job

One of the things I learned through my struggling years, work hard on yourself than your job. As soon as I learned it, I started reading and applying the teachings from self-help books of the famous authors and coaches.

And I can feel the difference but not much. Some of my good friends have closely observed me while watching me growing. Some of them admire me and most of them turned their back because of jealousy. One thing I always remind myself, be ready to walk alone.

I also found there are only 2 options for everything:-

  1. You can do it

  2. Or you can not.

There is nothing in between these 2 options.

Today we have an interview with Eric Thomas by Lewis Howes " When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breath, then you will be successful".

  • Eric just completed his PhD.

  • How he did it?

  • He says it is the American dream.

  • It's the greatest time and country to be born.

  • Through education he got everything.

  • Not talking about degrees but real education.

  • He dropped out of high school.

  • He was a good athlete and never kept his grades good.

  • First 5 minutes of reading is motivational.

  • All of us are born with a gift and you have to hold it.

  • He turned his passion into profit.

  • He says to people just do what you do.

  • You can't play and watch the scoreboard at the same time.

  • Wake up each day he says and “I have 24 hours and that's mine”.

  • Bill Gates and everyone else has 24 hours.

  • It can make your life or break it.

  • If you are grinding (Hard Work) up every day then you are going to get something out of that.

  • You can't grind on alternate days.

  • People ask, Tell me about your daily rituals?

  • Everyone asks when you wake up.

  • He answers, "they should ask what time I go to bed".

  • He wakes up at 3 o'clock in the morning.

  • He goes to bed early and wakes up early.

  • It gives me an extra 5 hours to be ahead of competitors.

  • He became a top motivational speaker because he created that space.

  • Each day for 2 hours he speaks to his wife, about what they are going to do. Where they need improvement.

  • Rest of the day they follow it.

  • Being an entrepreneur doesn't mean that you can spin the time according to you.

  • You can't be on the phone all the time.

  • When he starts working then no distraction. No Facebook, no Instagram for 2 hours.

  • Once he is out then he does social media.

  • Success is getting done what you say to do and nothing else.

Design an extraordinary life by Jim Rohn

Hi there, how are you all? This pandemic time is pretty challenging. When it started we had no idea how life will be in it. Now almost after 6 months, we have started believing that the situation will be the same in the near future. No medicine is going to be invented, at least I have this feeling.  Image by  DarkWorkX  from  Pixabay   Design an extraordinary life by Jim Rohn Jim says it is possible and he doesn't know how far you want to go. The first essence is self-preservation. Produce sufficient for taking care of yourself.  Produce enough to take care of yourself. In a flight, if you are without oxygen then put your mask first only then put it on your children. His father said, "son you are the first most important person after me in my life". Andrew Carnegie said that the first half of his life he will spend in making money and the second half in giving it away. He earned 40 billion dollars in the first half and in the latter half he gave it away. We...
