Jack Canfield: Maximizing Your Potential

I went to court yesterday as physical hearings resumed. While addressing the court, the judge informed us that unless covid19 situation improves, you may come or may not and the court is not going to pass any adverse order. Then I decided not to go to the court until the covid19 is over. Why should I take a risk when the government is not taking any responsibility and I'm on my own motion.

5 years back I used to walk a lot after reading an article about walking 10,000 steps a day can make you healthier. At the same time, I started listening to audiobooks and podcasts and developing a habit for it as it could give me a lot of extra time to do things simultaneously. Initially, it was hard as English is my second language. But I kept trying and now with the practice, I can understand what book saying in the one go.

Today we are going to learn from Jack Canfield. He says:-

  • The function of belief is taking action.

  • How many of you have an idea and you didn't work on it, another person worked on it and was successful?

  • What are the last 6 letters of the word ATTRACTION?

  • Exactly, “action”. You have to take action.

  • Jack used to go to the car dealer, take a test drive and take photos with the car and say to the dealer I'll get back to you.

  • Putting the photo on the refrigerator and visualizing owning that car.

  • Jack gives an example of a doctor who wanted to open the clinic in a city where according to experts no new doctor was needed.

  • 6 months before opening up he visited homes and knocked doors asking people what timing will be good for his new clinic as people work 9- 5.

  • People responded and then he asked if they would accept the invitation to his clinic? They said yes.

  • Over the 6 months, he visited 500 houses and met 6500 people.

  • When he opened his clinic his first month’s income was $ 72,000. Next month's income was $ 1 million.

  • He took action on his intuition and other people say they visualize.

  • You have to be willing to take action.

  • There are 2 types of actions.

  • Inner action and Outer action.

  • Experts say 1 hour of inner action is equal to 7 hours of outer action.

  • Inner action means meditation, visualization and affirmations. You can attract a lot by sending vibrations

  • Outer action means working so hard physically like pedalling the stream, working as a labourer.

Work Hard on Yourself than Your Job

One of the things I learned through my struggling years, work hard on yourself than your job. As soon as I learned it, I started reading and applying the teachings from self-help books of the famous authors and coaches. And I can feel the difference but not much. Some of my good friends have closely observed me while watching me growing. Some of them admire me and most of them turned their back because of jealousy. One thing I always remind myself, be ready to walk alone. I also found there are only 2 options for everything:- You can do it Or you can not. There is nothing in between these 2 options. Today we have an interview with Eric Thomas by Lewis Howes " When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breath, then you will be successful". Eric just completed his PhD. How he did it? He says it is the American dream. It's the greatest time and country to be born. Through education he got everything. Not talking about degrees but real education. He dropped out of high s...

Kindness Mistaken For Weakness: Robin Sharma

For many years in the past, we had cats in-home or you can say I was a cat person, not a dog person. Last kittens we had 4 siblings all boys 3 years back. All of them except 1 left us untimely, the sad part. Then we decided that let cats come and go, we will feed but not pet them. This year is a dog year to me. Since January I have been with 1 dog then 2 more near home and now 1 more. Total we have 4 dogs now. I used to afraid of dogs and now they surrounding me all the time so that feeling fade away. Now I feel more love and connection towards them. Image by  John Hain  from  Pixabay   Often times, being kind is viewed as a  weakness . Whether it is being kind to ourselves, or being kind to those around us. In all reality,  kindness  is a strength and negativity is the real  weakness : Why Kindness is Not A Weakness by Robin Sharma In the last hour of your last day, you will regret if you were not kind in life.
