It's 5 am and I always remember Robin Sharma saying it. His books are amazing. People
criticise but I love him. A thought crossing my mind now, 7th month of the year passing now. It
has been a beautiful year so far. I was thinking that things I used to think were luxury are now normal to me.
Robin Sharma is my favourite author and mentor. I have learned a lot through his books and he was also a practising lawyer before switching to become Life Coach. He has Indian roots and lives in Canada.
In "Leave the Cult of Today" he explains the following 4 rules to follow:
1. Originality - Your thoughts should be original. Don't copy anyone. Be authentic and be yourself.
2. Audacity - Be audacious and take risks in life. A man who sits on the bank of the river never learns how to swim.
3. Humanity- Humanity is the greatest gift to humans. Be human, help as many people you can.
4. Mastery - Be master of your craft. Whatever you do, give your best and over-deliver.
Robin mentioned some quotes too:-
● Be yourself everyone else is taken: Oscar Wilde
● There will never be a better you than you: Warren Buffet
● Don't lose yourself on the way to top: Jack Welch (General electrics).
His most famous book The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari is here.
